Compass Counseling Services of NOVA is seeking master’s level mental health therapist therapists to join our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Program. Ideal candidates are motivated to provide high-quality, community-based services to youth and families and are committed to creating meaningful, lasting change through evidence-based, data-driven practices.

MST therapists receive ongoing training in the MST model and work closely with youth ages 11–17, their families, and their broader support networks. MST addresses serious behavioral concerns, criminal involvement, and substance use by empowering families and implementing intensive, research-supported interventions such as skill building, restructuring unhelpful interactions, and strengthening social supports. Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:
Required: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, or Human Services area; valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving history and good driving record; availability during afternoons and evenings
Preferred: Eligible for residency in Virginia (we offer free residency supervision for LPC and LCSW residents); Spanish-speaking; skilled in collaborating with community agencies and experience providing in-home or community-based services.
